Sea turtles are an important and favorite part of life on Hilton Head Island! Every Sunday and Monday our local Turtle Trackers set up at South Beach to share information about these sea creatures that call our Island home.
GREGG RUSSELL SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IS BACK!
Gather around, for Fun in Harbour Town each evening, under the old oak tree you'll be entertained with Gregg's summer concerts. It's total family fun with special antics for the kids... games, interviews, sing-a-longs and great entertainment. Most families come night after night because they know the show is always different, always exciting. It all starts before dark, when people gather around... Don't be surprised if you see some familiar faces up there on stage with Gregg, as he plays all the familiar tunes -- and you sing along!
HILTON HEAD FREEDOM 5K
The Freedom 5K is a great opportunity to honor those among us who have served in the armed forces with a fun, family friendly event. Run with the American flag, dress in your patriotic best Red, White & Blue maybe you'll win the most patriotic runner award. Enjoy one of the most scenic courses on Hilton Head. A portion of the race proceeds and 100% of all donations will go directly to the Semper Fi & America's Fund.
AMERICA SINGS
Join the 72 voices of the Hilton Head Choral Society and celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day with this powerful salute through songs honoring the men and women who have fought for our freedom. The Category V Brass will accompany the Choral Society for this patriotic evening and will welcome special guest speaker, Colonel Oren D. Leff, USAF.
This casual, family-friendly concert has become a Lowcountry tradition bringing together locals and visitors alike dressed in their red, white and blue to honor our heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
