The Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival is a family friendly, week-long culinary and cultural tourism event, showcasing talented chefs, local seafood, special events, live music and more. Some of this year's signature events include the Pig Pickin' & Oyster Roast, Kegs & Eggs, Launch & Lunch and the annual favorite Saturday Seafood Festival.
TICK, TICK... BOOM!
Before bringing theater lovers RENT, Jonathan Larson wrote Tick, Tick… Boom, the autobiographical musical which was also made into a movie in 2021 directed by Lin Manuel Miranda. An aspiring composer questions his life choices on the eve of his thirtieth birthday. Don't miss the first production at the newest theater venue on Hilton Head Island, Sea Glass Stage Company!
TASTE OF GULLAH
From storytelling to gospel music, dance and more, an afternoon of performances shines the spotlight on Gullah heritage. This festival gets its name from the incredible food prepared by local Gullah cooks, and is truly the highlight of the day! Indulge in Lowcountry specialties including original island gumbo, barbecue ribs, fried fish, shrimp and grits, and shrimp and okra gumbo. Don't miss this FREE quintessential Lowcountry event that takes place as part of the Annual Gullah Celebration Festival!
MOUNTAINFILM ON TOUR
Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. The event is designed to raise funds to support 21st century learning in the Lowcountry with films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
THE FIREPIT CONCERT
Come feel the warmth and glow of a flickering fire, roast some marshmallows, and experience the music of Pretty Darn as if they were in your own backyard!
BLACK MARLIN OYSTER ROAST W/ TRU GENTLEMEN
An island Octoberfest! Featuring Samuel Adams beer trailers, 20 breweries, authentic German cuisine, Live Music by White Liquor, Cameron Tate, a costume contest with prizes and more!
SOUPER BOWL OF CARING
Local restaurants will be serving up their favorite soups for participants to taste and enjoy, plus music by Chilly Willy Band! All proceeds will go to support Second Helpings.

An All You Can Eat Oyster Roast with live music by Alex Marley (Bob Marley's first cousin).
AUGUST WILSON'S "FENCES"
Part of August Wilson’s celebrated Century Cycle, Fences explores the walls we build around ourselves and our loved ones, while also illuminating one family’s struggles during this era. Often humorous, always riveting, the play won the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 1987 Tony Award for Best Play.
